SUNS WELCOME DAZHA CONGLETON

Sevenoaks Suns are pleased to welcome new signing Dazha Congleton to the club ahead of the upcoming WBBL season.

The American guard joins compatriot Araion Bradshaw as another recruit having averaged 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game at Glenville State University last season.

Congleton played a key role in helping the school win the NCAA Division II national title and now joins the Suns to begin her pro career.

“Dazha is another player coming from a very successful US college programme,” said Suns head coach Len Busch. “She’s an explosive scorer and loves to defend. I’m looking forward to seeing how she fares in the WBBL.”

Congleton and Bradshaw will form an exciting new backcourt for the Suns with a third American signing to be announced this week.

So far, the Suns have also confirmed the returns of Renee Busch, Judit Fritz and Julia Koppl, whilst adding talented rising star Katie Cox to the roster.
