The Sevenoaks Suns continued their unbeaten season as they moved ever closer to claiming another WBBL Championship after they overcame second place Leicester Riders on Wednesday.
This defeat was only the second of the season for the Riders, and the defeat was brought on by a phenomenal display by Catherine Carr, who finished just one assist shy of a triple double.
Carr put up 20 points, twelve rebounds and nine assists, and was provided fantastic help from Tayani Clark, who was also close to a triple-double herself, with 15 points, twelve rebounds and seven assists.

Suns: Carr 20, Clark 15, Da Silva 10, Busch 9, Garrido-Perez 7, Monakana 2.
Riders: Stewart 12, Lappenkuper 11, Winterburn 7, Smith 7, Brewer 6, Clark 5, Robb 3.
Now the Championship title comes down to the weekend, as a Leicester loss to London on Saturday or anything short of a 13-point loss to Leicester on Sunday will see Sevenoaks claim their third WBBL Championship title.
