BRITTANY HODGES BECOMES A SUNS

Sevenoaks Suns are delighted to confirm the signing of Brittany Hodges to add to its WBBL roster.

The American forward has previously played in Germany, Luxembourg and Australia after graduating from Furman University in 2015.

Hodges is set to soon make a long-awaited debut for the club after injury delayed an anticipated arrival.

“Brittany is an explosive inside player who I believe will be very successful in the WBBL,” said Suns head coach Len Busch. “There have not been very many players in our league with her skill set.

“She was due to join Suns last season but unfortunately she suffered a season ending injury before ever getting here. This season, we will finally get to see her play and I can’t wait.”

Hodges links up with compatriots Congleton and Bradshaw as part of a new look American trio for the Suns as the latest addition to the 2022-23 roster.

Sevenoaks re-signed Renee Busch, Julia Koppl and Judit Fritz as well as adding GB Under-16 captain Katie Cox.
